Ok, first, what you have here is an "expression" rather than an "equation"
What's the difference?
Equations have something on the left equal to something on the right. As in and equations can be solved (usually).
Expressions are a combination of variables and/or constants that are not equal to anything. Expessions can be evaluated (if you are given the value of the variable) or they can be simplified, but they can't be "solved".
Now the question is...was this supposed to be an equation, if so, what's it equal to?
If, on the other hand it is supposed to be an expression, what does your little brother want done with it?
Let's assume that it is meant to be an expression and the assignment is to simplify it.
You multiply the 6(2) in the denominator first.
Then you divide the numerator by the denominator (24/12) and finally, you add the 50 and the 2.
This is it, simplified.
