You can put this solution on YOUR website! Algebra is based on universally agreed upon rules of order of operations.
We needed to agree on those rules to be able to understand one another.
Beyond agreed upon symbols and definitions, algebra is just logical thinking.
There are no magical rules and formulas in algebra.
You can find the answers by yourself, if you stop panicking and think logically.
1)
According to the rules of order of operation,
they multiplied times first,
after that, they added , and the result is .
You can undo all that manipulation to find what they started with.
You need to undo what was done in reverse order.
Why reverse?
You take off your shoes before taking off your socks, don't you?
That's because you put on your shoes last, after putting on your socks.

(reversing the adding of 3)
Subtracting 3 from the two "algebraic expressions" on both sides of the equal sign, you get new expressions, still equal to each other.
From one step to the next, whatever you do to one side of the equal sign you have to do to the other side to keep them equal.
(just simplifying, doing those indicated operations)
Next, we have to undo the multiplication times 2:
--> or or
( can be expressed as or as , but it's the same number)
(Maybe you need to show less steps, or write something in a certain way just to please your teacher).
