Question 765603: Mr. Bambang family left town A at 6.15 a.m and arrived in town B at 9.15. If Mr. Bambang drove the car in 60 kms per hour, and they got rest 1 hour for meal; how many kms the distance from town A to town B?
Is this:
D = time*speed
= 4*(convert 60kph to mph)
= 4*37,28
= 49,...... ?
Is my answer correct? Do we always need to convert kph to mph? Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Mr Bambang drove for 3 hours (9.15 - 6.15)
I am assuming the 9.15 was a.m. as well.
The hour's stop for rest does not count
for they were not moving.
Mr Bambang drove at 60kms per hour
Distance = Time * Speed
Distance = 3 hours * 60kms per hour
Distance between town a and B = 180kms.
Hope this helps.
