You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for x
a) x(x-2)(x+5) = 0
----
Since the product is zero, one of those factors must be zero.
x = 0
or
x-2 = 0
or
x+5 = 0
So:::::
x = 0
or x = 2
or x = -5

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a) +x%28x-2%29%28x%2B5%29+=+0+
You have 3 factors here.
The equation is true if EITHER +x+=+0+,
or +x-2+=+0+, or +x%2B5+=+0+
-----------------------------
So, the 3 solutions are:
+x+=+0+
-----------
+x-2+=+0+
+x+=+2+
-----------
+x+%2B+5+=+0+
+x+=+-5+
----------
Those are the 3 solutions
