Question 727781: I have a math problem, but I don't have the equation to solve it. I can't find it in my notes. If I just had the equation, i could figure it out. The problem is:
How many different three-topping pizzas are possible given eight different toppings?
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! How many different three-topping pizzas are possible given eight different toppings?
----------------
There isn't always "an equation," sometimes you have to figure it out.
----
Assuming there's no mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms pizza, ie, the 3 toppings are different:
the 1st choice is 1 of 8
then 1 of 7, then 1 of 6
= 8*7*6 = 336 possibilities.
