What is that 5 step method?

You have an equation consisting of rational expressions. The lowest or simplest common denominator is 5%28x-2%29. Multiply both sides of the equation by 5%28x-2%29 and you can eliminate the fractions. That two steps should give you immediately,
3%2A5%2B2%28x-2%29=3%2A5, but there is still a problem.

NOTE: The original equation has no solution. There is a common term or expression on both sides, 3/(x-2). Subtract that from both sides and you then have a false statement. Your equation has no solution.
