Write the slope-intercept form of an equation of the line that passes through (-2,0) and is parallel to the graph of y=-3x-2

You can put this solution on YOUR website! y=-3x-2 the slope of this line is -3.
a line parallel to this line also has a slope of -3 & passes through (2,0) is
0=-3*2+b
0=-6+b
b=6
thus the equation of this line is
y=-3x+6
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Write the slope-intercept form of an equation of the line that passes through
(-2,0) and is parallel to the graph of y=-3x-2
---------
If the line is parallel to y=-3x-2 then m=-3.
If y=0 when x=-2, and m=-3, then
0=(-3)(2)+b
b=6
-------
EQUATION:
y=-3x+6
