You can put this solution on YOUR website! 5m+2 = 3m+5 First, subtract 3m from both sides of the equation.
5m-3m+2 = 3m-3m+5 Simplify.
2m+2 = 5 Now subtract 2 from both sides.
2m+2-2 = 5-2 Simplify.
