The correct answer is x=1/3, x=1/2?

Can be reduced to {6x^2 - 5x +1 } = 0
6x^2 - 3x - 2x + 1 = 0
{3x ( 2x - 1 ) - 1(2x - 1 )} = 0
{{(2x - 1) (3x - 1) } = 0}
{2x - 1 } = 0 OR {3x - 1 } = 0.
{ X = {(1/2) or (1/3)}}

1(6x + 1) - x(6x + 1) - 2 = 0(6x + 1) ----- Multiplying by LCD, 6x + 1

6x+%2B+1+-+6x%5E2+-+x+-+2+=+0

-+6x%5E2+%2B+6x+-+x+%2B+1+-+2+=+0

-+6x%5E2+%2B+5x+-+1+=+0

0+=+6x%5E2+-+5x+%2B+1, or 6x%5E2+-+5x+%2B+1+=+0

You can now solve for x. Notice that the equation is different from yours!!
