You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4(x-2)-3(x-1)=2(x+6)
4(x)+4(-2)-3(x)-3(-1)=2(x)+2(6)
4x-8-3x+3=2x+12
(4-3)x-8+3=2x+12
x-5=2x+12
x-x-5=2x-x+12
-5=x+12
-5-12=x+12-12
highlight%28-17=x%29
Check by letting x=-17 and see if both sides =.
4(-17-2)-3(-17-1)=2(-17+6)
4(-19)-3(-18)=2(-11)
-76+54=-22
-22=-22 We're right!!!
Happy Calculating!!!!
