Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Distribute the 3 and 2
3y + 3(1) = 2(y) + 2(2)
3y + 3 = 2y + 4
Group the y on the left side
3y - 2y = 4 - 3
Combine like terms
