You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2x+5y=-10?
5y=2x-10
/5
y= (2/5)x-2
compare with y=mx+b
m=(2/5) the slope
Y intercept = b=-2

what is the slope and y-intercept for -2x+5y=-10?
----
Solve for "y":
5y = 2x-10
y = (2/5)x - 2
------
slope = 2/5
intercept = -2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2x + 5y = -10
Write the equation in the form y = mx + b
Solve for y
5y = -10 + 2x
Divide both sides by 5
y = -2 + 2%2F5x
Slope m = 2%2F5
y-intercept is when x = 0
y = -2 + 2%2F5(0)
y = -2
(0, -2)
