R=1/[(1/50)+1/100)]
R=1/[(2+1)/100]
R=1/(3/100)
R=1*(100/3)
R=100/3
R=33 1/3 OHMS.

IF BOTH RESISTERS ARE 500 OHMS THEN
R=1/[(1/500)+(1/500)]
R=1/(2/500)
