You can put this solution on YOUR website! R=1/[(1/R1)+(1/R2)] SO IF THE TWO RESISTERS ARE 50 & 100 OHMS THEN
R=1/[(1/50)+1/100)]
R=1/[(2+1)/100]
R=1/(3/100)
R=1*(100/3)
R=100/3
R=33 1/3 OHMS.
