solve the following equation in terms of "y"
R(x+y) = xy
multiply what's inside the brackets
Rx + Ry = xy
Subtract Rx from both sides, subtract xy from both sides and you have:
Ry - xy = -Rx
Factor out y
y(R-x) = -Rx
Divide both sides by (R-x)
y = -%28Rx%29%2F%28%28R-x%29%29
