Note:  Goal is to isolate the variable on one side of the Equation

That gives a plan of action!

1%2F6+-+x%2F2+=+%28%28x-5%29%29%2F3   ||Multiplying thru by 6 so as all denominators = 1

 1 - 3x =2( x-5)    |Distribute the 2 to remove the parenthesis 

 1 - 3x = 2x - 10   |Adding 3x to both sides

    1 = 5x - 10      |Adding 10 to both sides

    11 = 5x
