i assume you mean 49x%5E2+-+64?

%287x%29%5E2+-+8%5E2

(7x+8)(7x-8) --> multiply out the brackets and make sure you get the original question, just to check my working.

The problem should be:
49x^2-64=0
49 x^2= 64
x^2= 64\49
x^2=1.3
x= sqrt(1.3)
