You can put this solution on YOUR website! Take HALF of the coefficient of y, which is 7, and SQUARE it to get 49. Add this to each side of the equation:
y^2 + 14y + 49 = 32 + 49
(y+7)^2 = 81
Take the square root of each side:
Calculate each value:
y=-7 +9 =2
y=-7-9 = -16

You can put this solution on YOUR website! solve y^2+14y=32 by completing the square,..thnks
------
y^2 + 14y + (14/2)^2 = 32 + (14/2)^2
----
y^2 + 14y + 49 = 81
---
(y+7)^2 = 81
--
y+7 = 9 or y+7 = -9
y = 2 or y = -16
