6d%2B36=6d-24 Combine like terms on the right side.


6d=6d-24-36 Subtract 36 from both sides.


6d-6d=-24-36 Subtract 6d from both sides.


0d=-24-36 Combine like terms on the left side.


0d=-60 Combine like terms on the right side.


0=-60 Simplify.


Since this equation is NEVER true for any d value, this means that there are no solutions.
