12x%2B32=12x-7 Start with the given equation.


12x=12x-7-32 Subtract 32 from both sides.


12x-12x=-7-32 Subtract 12x from both sides.


0x=-7-32 Combine like terms on the left side.


0x=-39 Combine like terms on the right side.


0=-39 Simplify.


Since this equation is NEVER true for any x value, this means that there are no solutions.
