Not sure how you got the 0 in the denominator there. Here is one way to solve for Z, given this equation: 17%2B3%28z-2%29-11z=-7%28z%2F2%29%2B14
17%2B3z-3%2A2-11z=-%287%2F2%29z%2B+14
-8z%2B11+=+-3.5z+%2B14
-4.5z=3
z=-3%2F4.5
z=-2%2F3
