You can put this solution on YOUR website! factor the following
4m^2 - 8m + 3
=4m^2-6m-2m+3
=2m(2m-3)-(2x-3)
=(2m-3)(2x-1)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hey lackinmath, I thought I told you to change your nickname to something more positive like lotsofmath. :-)

Please help completely factor the following
This is in form. We need to replace b with two numbers that multiply together to get a*c, but add together to get b.
Our a=4, b=-8, and c=3
a*c=4*3=12 and b=-8
-2*-6=12 and -2-6=-8
Replace b with -2-6 and factor by grouping: Factor the GCF out of each group. They both have a factor of 2m-1, factor it out.
Happy Calculating, lackinmath!!!
