How do you identify the vertex and axis of symmetry of an equation?
---------------
Vertex occurs at (-b/(2a) , f(-b/(2a))
-------
The axis of symmetry is x = -b/(2a) if the parabola opens up or down.
The axis of symmetry is y = -b/(2a) if the parabola opens right or left.
