You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There is nothing special to remember.
You have fractions added.
You could get a common denominator and add fractions, or
you could multiply both sides of the equation times 6 and not have to deal with fractions.
MULTIPLYING TIMES 6
6%28t%2F2+%2B+t%2F3%29=+6%2A5 is an equation equivalent to t%2F2+%2B+t%2F3=+5
They will have the same solution or solutions, if there are any.
6%28t%2F2+%2B+t%2F3%29=+6%2A5 --> 6%2At%2F2%2B6%2At%2F3=30 (applying the distributive property)
Then you can simplify
6%2At%2F2%2B6%2At%2F3=30 --> 2%2A3%2At%2F2%2B2%2A3%2At%2F3=30 --> 3t%2B2t=30
Then just add
3t%2B2t=30 --> %283%2B2%29t=30 --> 5t=30
Then divide both sides by 5 to get
t=6
