You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-x%2B2%2F5=5-%284%2F3%29x Start with the given equation.

15%28-x%2B2%2Fcross%285%29%29=15%285-%284%2Fcross%283%29%29x%29 Multiply both sides by the LCD 15 to clear any fractions.

-15x%2B6=75-20x Distribute and multiply.

-15x=75-20x-6 Subtract 6 from both sides.

-15x%2B20x=75-6 Add 20x to both sides.

5x=75-6 Combine like terms on the left side.

5x=69 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=%2869%29%2F%285%29 Divide both sides by 5 to isolate x.

Answer:

So the solution is x=69%2F5
