1/x+3 = 7x+4/x^2+4x+3 - 1/x+1
The way that I did that is it should read 1 over x+3 equals 7x plus 4 over x squared plus 4x plus 3 minus 1 over x+1 Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source):
Factorise x^2+4x+3
=x^2+3x+x+3
=x(x+3)+1(x+3)
=(x+1)(x+3)
LCD of the equation = (x+1)(x+3)
multiply equation by (x+1)(x+3)
Cancel off the common terms
x+1=7x+4-x-3
5x=0
x=0
