-8x-45=2-15x Start with the given equation.


-8x=2-15x%2B45 Add 45 to both sides.


-8x%2B15x=2%2B45 Add 15x to both sides.


7x=2%2B45 Combine like terms on the left side.


7x=47 Combine like terms on the right side.


x=%2847%29%2F%287%29 Divide both sides by 7 to isolate x.
