You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A = (1/2)h (B + b) , solve for "b".
2A = h(B+b)
2A/h=B+b
b=[2A/h]-B

Hi Sher,
Working hard again?
The object is to get b all by itself on one side of the equal sign. We do this by dividing things that have been multiplied, multiplying things that have been divided and subtracting things that have been added. Remember that whatever you do to one side of the equation you have to do to the other.
A=%281%2F2%29h%28B%2Bb%29
2A=2%2A%281%2F2%29h%28B%2Bb%29
2A=h%28B%2Bb%29
2A%2Fh=h%28B%2Bb%29%2Fh
2A%2Fh=%28B%2Bb%29
2A%2Fh=B%2Bb
2A%2Fh-B=-B%2BB%2Bb
2A%2Fh-B=b
Happy Calculating!!!!
