1) 1-7x=-20
Add 7x to both sides
Add 20 to both sides

1+20 = 7x
7x = 21
Divide both sides by 7 to get:
x = 3

2) 1+5x=26
Subtract 1 from both sides to get:
5x = 25
Divide by 5 to get:
x = 5

3) -6x+7=15
Add 6x to both sides
Subtract 15 from both sides
6x = 7-15
6x = -8
Divide both sides by 6
x = -4/3

4) -3+4x=-47
Add 3 to both sides:
4x = -44
Divide by 4 to get:
