Question 53091: I can't figure this out - please help.
d^2 - d + 0.331776 = 0
I tried moving the 0.331776 to the right side along with the d to then square the d^2 in order to remove the square, but this doesn't really tell me anything - I'm just moving my values.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! d^2 - d + 0.331776 = 0
For the quadratic equation, ax^2+bx+c=0, the value of x is calculated using the formula,
x = ((-bą √(b^2-4ac))/2a
The same way, the above problem can be solved using scientific calculator.
