-x%2B8=-6x%2B5x%2B50 Combine like terms on the left side.


-x%2B8=-x%2B50 Combine like terms on the right side.


-x=-x%2B50-8 Subtract 8 from both sides.


-x%2Bx=50-8 Add x to both sides.


0x=50-8 Combine like terms on the left side.


0x=42 Combine like terms on the right side.


0=42 Simplify.


Since this equation is NEVER true for any x value, this means that there are no solutions.
