Solve for p:
26.54-p+=+0.5%2850-p%29 I would first expand the right side using the distributive property.
26.54-p+=+25-0.5p Then I would add p to both sides of the equation.
26.54+=+25%2B0.5p Then subtract 25 from both sides.
1.54+=+0.5p Finally, multiply both sides by 2.
3.08+=+p
Solution is: p = 3.08
