You can put this solution on YOUR website! -34=v+42-5v --> separate the single numbers of the numbers with variables changing them of side and don't forget of change the signal too
-34-42=v-5v --> now calculate them
-76=-4v *(-1) --> if the two are negative you can multiply all by (-1) to change the signal
76=4v --> pass the number that is multiplying dividing to isolate the variable "v"
76/4=v --> calculate and find the value of "v"
