Question 490765: solve using the multiplication principle
-12>-4k

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-12+%3E+-4k

Multiply both sides by red%28-1%2F4%29 remembering the rule
that says when you multiply both sides of an inequality
by a negative number the inequality reverses from > to <.

red%28expr%28-1%2F4%29%29%28-12%29+%3C+red%28expr%28-1%2F4%29%29%28-4k%29

3+%3C+k

You can also write that as k+%3E+3 if you like, but
it isn't necessary.
