You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x-%282x%2B3%29%3E4x-5
Rearrange so you have zero on one side of the ">" sign:
6x-%282x%2B3%29-4x%2B5%3E0
Now simplify:
4x-%282x%2B3%29%2B5%3E0
4x-2x%2B5-3%3E0
2x%2B2%3E0
x%2B1%3E0
Now if we plot the line "y=x+1" we know that at any point where y>0, the inequality is satisfied (i.e. when the line is above the x-axis).
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-5%2C+5%2C+-5%2C+5%2C+x%2B1%29+
If you rearrange x%2B1%3E0 you can obtain x%3E-1
i.e. the inequality is satisfied when x is more than 1.

I hope this helps.
P.S. I am trying to start up my own homework help website. I would be extremely grateful if you would e-mail me some feedback on the help you received to adam.chapman@student.manchester.ac.uk
