Find all solutions of the equation.
x^6 - 64 = 0
x^6 =64 Taking the sixth root of both sides
x=2
x=-2
Depending on the scope of your math class there are technically 6 answers for this question. Please let me know if you need further clarification on this problem

x%5E6=64
x=64%5E%281%2F6%29
Because the power of x is an even number, there will be a positive (>0) and negative (<0) solution for x.
the solutions are x=2 or x=-2
you can check this by plotting the graph and the solutions are where the curve touches the x-axis:
