Multiply both sides by 6.
12%28x-4%29=5%28x%2B6%29-36 => 12x-48=5x%2B30-36 => 12x-5x=48-6 =>
7x=42 => x=6.
Check:2(6-4)=(5/6)(6+6)-6 => 4=10-6 => 4=4. Since x=6 satisfy the equation, the value 6 is the solution.
