The required region is below the straight line i.e. that side of th straight line which contains the origin.
Remember: As "<" and not "<=" sign has been used so the reqd. region does not include the straight line. This means the reqd. region contains no such point which lie on the straight line [e.g. points (0,-3), (4,0), etc.].
