If x%2F%282y%29=2, then x=4y (multiply both sides by 2y)


So plug this into %283x%2B8y%29%2F%28x-2y%29 to get %283%284y%29%2B8y%29%2F%284y-2y%29, multiply to get %2812y%2B8y%29%2F%284y-2y%29, combine like terms to get 20y%2F2y and reduce to get 10


So %283x%2B8y%29%2F%28x-2y%29=10 if x%2F%282y%29=2
