You can put this solution on YOUR website!
10= c/3 - 4 + c/6
---
Multiply thru by 6 to get:
60 = 2c - 40 + c
================
100 = 3c

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The easisest way to solve these equations is to

multiply EVERY term by the least common denominator you would use

if you were trying to combine the terms.

In this case, the LCD is 6.

So we will multiply every term in the equation by 6.

10=c%2F3-4%2Bc%2F6 original equation

10%2A6=6c%2F3-4%2A6%2B6c%2F6 mutiply all 4 terms by 6

60=2c-24%2Bc

60=3c-24

84=3c

c=28

I hope this helps!
