I know the answer is 12 days but I don't know how to work it out.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Please check your question. You are missing 1 piece of data-- the number of people who received $3.75
An equation can be solved only when the number of unknowns equal the number of equations.
In this case, we have 1 equation BUT 2 unknowns--The number of days AND the number of people who received $3.75 or $1.35
