5d=2d%2B2%2B11 Add 11 to both sides.


5d-2d=2%2B11 Subtract 2d from both sides.


3d=2%2B11 Combine like terms on the left side.


3d=13 Combine like terms on the right side.


d=%2813%29%2F%283%29 Divide both sides by 3 to isolate d.
