P/4=Q/2

P=3x and Q = (2-x)  Substituting for P and Q

%283x%29%2F4+=+%282-x%29%2F2

cross multiplying to solve for x

6x = 4(2-x)

6x = 8 - 4x

10x = 8

x = 8/10  Or x = 4/5
