You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12p-7=-3p+8
---
Add 3p to both sides to get:
15p - 7 = 8
Add 7 to both sides to get:
15p = 15
Divide both sides by 15 to get:
p = 1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12p-7=-3p%2B8 Start with the given equation.

12p=-3p%2B8%2B7 Add 7 to both sides.

12p%2B3p=8%2B7 Add 3p to both sides.

15p=8%2B7 Combine like terms on the left side.

15p=15 Combine like terms on the right side.

p=%2815%29%2F%2815%29 Divide both sides by 15 to isolate p.

p=1 Reduce.
