You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let's factor -2x%5E3%2Bx%5E2%2B18x-9

-2x%5E3%2Bx%5E2%2B18x-9 Start with the given expression

%28-2x%5E3%2Bx%5E2%29%2B%2818x-9%29 Group like terms

-x%5E2%282x-1%29%2B9%282x-1%29 Factor out the GCF -x%5E2 out of the first group. Factor out the GCF 9 out of the second group

%28-x%5E2%2B9%29%282x-1%29 Since we have the common term 2x-1, we can combine like terms

%289-x%5E2%29%282x-1%29 Rearrange the terms.

%283%2Bx%29%283-x%29%282x-1%29 Now factor 9-x%5E2 to get %283%2Bx%29%283-x%29

So -2x%5E3%2Bx%5E2%2B18x-9 completely factors to %283%2Bx%29%283-x%29%282x-1%29

So -2x%5E3%2Bx%5E2%2B18x-9=0 is equivalent to %283%2Bx%29%283-x%29%282x-1%29=0

So all you have to do now is solve %283%2Bx%29%283-x%29%282x-1%29=0, which I'll let you do.
