I need some help with: Fractions.
Directions: Compare the fractions using <,> or =
3/5 __________ 5/9
So i got this answer.
First i divide them both so see which one is lesser. by the decimals. like so.
0.6 & 0.5 repeating.
which one is bigger?

0.6 is larger because the 6 in the tenths place is larger than the 5 in the tenths place. So

Alternative method:

Cross multiply to get

3*9 _________ 5*5

and multiply the numbers out to get

27 _________ 25

Since 27 > 25, this means that the left hand side is larger. So
