You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+%282x%2B9%29%2F%284x-15%29=5%2F7+ Start with the given equation.

+7%282x%2B9%29=5%284x-15%29+ Cross multiply.

14x%2B63=20x-75 Distribute.

14x=20x-75-63 Subtract 63 from both sides.

14x-20x=-75-63 Subtract 20x from both sides.

-6x=-75-63 Combine like terms on the left side.

-6x=-138 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=%28-138%29%2F%28-6%29 Divide both sides by -6 to isolate x.

x=23 Reduce.

Answer:

So the solution is x=23

solve +%282x%2B9%29%2F%284x-15%29=5%2F7+
The easiest way is cross multiply this guy
7(2x + 9) = 5(4x - 15)
:
14x + 63 = 20x - 75
:
63 + 75 = 20x - 14x
:
138 = 6x
x = 138%2F6
x = 23

Check it in the original problem x=23
