The reciprocal is the "flip" of the number.
With a whole number you have to put it over 1.

yes, its absolutely correct.
reciprocal means to change the position of both numerator and denominator..
your problem can be written as 2 /1 ..so here 2 is numerator and 1 is denominator,,,so reciprocal of 2 or 2/1 = 1/2
moreover, im maths language reciprocal is denoted by the power -1
x^-1...denotes that x need to be reciprocal...
