You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You must first factor:
4x+5-3(2x-5)=9-(8x-1)+x
4x+5 (-3*2x and -3*-5)=9 (-1*8x and -1*-1) +x
4x+5-6x+15=9-8x+1+x
Then you combine like terms:
4x-6x+5+15=-8x+x+9+1
-2x+20=-7x+10
Subtract -7x from each side:
-2x+20=-7x+10
-(-7x) -(-7x)>>2 negs become a positive
so
-2x+7x+20=10
5x+20=10

Subtract 20 from each side:
5x=-10
Divide both sides by 5 to get x alone:
%285x%2F5%29=%28-10%2F5%29
Answer:
x=-2
Hope I helped :)
