You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your question is not clear? Do you want to solve for y? Perhaps you can re-state it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+(2+y)=8
or y=8-2-x
or y=6-x , means there are infinite solution of x and y. Such as
For Say , x= -2,-1,0,1,2.................
y = 6-x= 6-(-2)=6+2=8
y = 6-x= 6-(-1)=6+1=7
y = 6-x= 6-(0)=6-0=6
y = 6-x= 6-(1)=6-1=5
y = 6-x= 6-(2)=6-2=4 etc.
One can put the values on a graph paper and extend the stariaght line as a universal solution of the equation.
