You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This equations:
-6x%2B3=-7-5x
Solve for x, find the value by combining the x's first, so you want to get all the x's on one side of the equal sign:
You can add the -5x from the right to the left side of the equation:
-6x%2B5x%2B3=-7
The larger number is negative so it will be a negative (1)x:
-x%2B3=-7
Next to get x completely by itself, subtract the 3 from the left to the right side:
-x=-7-3
-x=-10
You cannot leave it in this form, divide by a negative one on both sides to get it positive:
-x%2F-1=-10%2F-1
Negative/Negative = Positive
x=10
